Delete your Legalume data
Delete from the app
- Open Legalume and go to Settings.
- Select Delete local data.
- Review the warning and confirm the destructive action.
- Keep the app open until it reports completion or clearly states that remote cleanup could not be confirmed.
This removes app-private Vault and temporary files, recovery records, local reminder records, Legalume secure-storage entries and local entitlement installation/session credentials. The app also attempts to cancel scheduled Android notifications. When the entitlement service is active, it attempts authenticated deletion of installation-linked service state.
If remote installation cleanup or scheduled-notification cancellation cannot be confirmed, Legalume still completes the local wipe and erases the former installation/session credentials. The app does not claim that running local deletion again can target the former installation. Any remaining service state is subject to the code-level TTL and purge limits in the Privacy Policy; the live production retention path must be verified before release.
What is not deleted
- PDFs, messages or
.lgbakarchives you exported outside the app; - copies handled by another app, recipient or storage provider; and
- Google Play purchase and subscription records governed by Google.
Delete exported copies at their destination. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play; deleting data or uninstalling Legalume does not cancel renewal.
If you cannot open the app
Android Settings → Apps → Legalume → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstalling Legalume, removes app-private local data. This cannot delete exported copies or cancel a Google Play subscription.
