Legalume Terms of Use

1. What Legalume is

Legalume is Android software for scanning, on-device OCR review, encrypted document organization, structured Business Recovery records, reminders, and user-controlled PDF, message and backup exports.

Legalume is not a law firm, lawyer, court, public authority, debt collector, payment processor or emergency service. It does not provide legal advice, assess legal strength, submit a filing, send a recovery message automatically, process a payment, or guarantee any legal, payment, recovery or business outcome. Live AI analysis is unavailable in this release.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• having authority to scan, import, store, process, export and share documents or personal and business data;
• checking OCR text, balances, dates, deadlines, preparation indicators, message drafts and exports before relying on or sharing them;
• protecting your device, app lock, backup password, exported copies and recipients; and
• complying with applicable professional, privacy, evidence, communication, recovery and other laws.

Preparation indicators show organization or missing fields only. They are not a legal assessment.

3. Google Play premium access

Where offered, digital premium access is purchased through Google Play Billing. The price, currency, billing period, tax, trial or introductory-offer eligibility, renewal date and cancellation terms displayed by Google Play before confirmation control the transaction. Legalume does not promise an offer that is not shown in the live checkout.

Premium access requires verification through the Legalume entitlement service and Google Play. Verification fails closed: network failure, replay protection, package/product mismatch, expiry, refund, void or revocation can keep or return premium to locked status. Manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play. Deleting the app or Legalume data does not cancel a subscription; cancellation does not delete local Legalume data.

4. Data and sharing

Legalume has no developer-operated user account. Most documents and workflow content remain in app-private local storage. The limited purchase-verification flow and Google ML Kit SDK diagnostics are described in the Privacy Policy.

Copy, share and export actions are initiated by you. Once content reaches an app or destination you select, that recipient handles it under its own terms. Password-protected backup archives outside Legalume remain under your control.

5. Availability and changes

Device capabilities, Android permissions, Google Play, network availability, subscription status, security controls and supported formats can affect features. Legalume may change, suspend or remove features for security, compatibility, policy, compliance or product reasons. A roadmap, experiment or unreleased feature is not a purchased commitment.

6. Rights and acceptable use

The Legalume software, product design and brand remain with their respective rights holders. You retain any rights you hold in your content and remain responsible for it. Do not misuse the app to violate law, another person's rights, security controls or service integrity.

7. Accuracy, security and mandatory rights

OCR, calculations and software may contain errors; review important results independently. Security controls reduce risk but no system can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable mandatory consumer rights.

These terms may change with product behavior, providers, law or Play requirements. The date above identifies the current revision. Material changes will be reflected in the public terms and, where required, in the app or store listing.
